I’m a 13 year old boy that lives in Australia with my family. My brother and I were born in Melbourne but my parents and grandparents were born in India.

Even though I live in Australia my family and I still celebrate a couple of things from my culture. One of the things we celebrate is independence day for India. The reason for celebrating independence day is because India became an actual country and was no longer ruled by Britain.
